Points, results and prizes

What scores

ActionPoints

Claim a camp or an Essence Rift from bandits250

Claim a Hyperstructure from bandits1,000
Hold a Hyperstructure1 a second for each realm around it

A claim scores only when it is taken from bandits; capturing a structure from another player scores nothing. A held Hyperstructure counts the player realms standing on the six realm sites around it, so it scores from nothing to six times its rate each second, for the player who holds it.

Standings and the end

Your name chip in the top bar shows your place and points; click it for the leaderboard, with each player's points by kind. When the 60 minutes end, the game shows Game finished, and See the results opens your place, the board and the chest your result earned.

Where an entry goes

Every entry, and every sword and shield bought, is split two ways: 90% to the chest reserve and 10% to the treasury. Games pay no prizes of their own; what the chests leave at the season's end pays the season's best.

Results

At the end, the game settles its hyperstructure points and records every player's final victory points and rank. Equal scores share a rank: scores of 100, 100 and 50 rank 1, 1 and 3. Players with zero points share last place, including registered players who never acted.

Results, ratings, chests and season prizes all go to the wallet your seat was played with, even if you change your payout wallet afterwards.

A chest for every player

Every player of a settled game gets a chest, sealed until opened. Opening it draws one reward: one entry's worth of LORDS (99.98%), a sword credit (0.01%) or a shield credit (0.01%). A credit pays for that extra at your next entry. When the draw is LORDS but the chest reserve cannot pay the whole amount, the chest draws again between the two credits. Opening takes two steps: Open, then the reveal a few blocks later. At the season's end, what is left of the chest reserve joins the prize pool.

Ratings

Every Blitz game is rated, however many play; only a game of one leaves ratings as they were. Ratings are measured against a reference mean of 1,500. A game's base rating change is capped at 45, less in a small game; then a sword doubles a gain and a shield halves a loss, in the game you bought them for, so a sword's gain can reach twice the cap. In a rated game, the leaderboard shows each player's rating change if the game ended now, worked out as the result will be.

The season prize

When the season ends, ratings freeze. The best 20% of the season's players by rating share the prize pool, the top place the largest share and each place after it 96% of the share above. The Season page shows, while the season runs, what each place would take if it ended now.

Once the season's list is posted and its one-hour challenge window has passed, a winner presses Claim on the Season page, from the wallet their seats were played with.
